The Globalistina ‘Brainchild Collection’

|| feminine leisurewear with some street style classics ||

The Brainchild collection is the first fashion collection of the globalistina brand. It is our attempt to bring leisure and activewear more to life; infusing it with street style classics, bold prints and feminine details.

All pieces are designed to be adaptable to different types of activities, occasions, temperatures and moods. It is our way of showcasing what we think of the women that, like us, represent the brand – ‘Modern common women. Extraordinary on a different scale’.

None of the pieces in the collection will force you to struggle through the day in clothes that won’t allow you to take a deep breath.

We have worked hand-in-hand with our manufacturer to ensure we find ethical and good quality cotton.

Rather, each piece shows a slightly more sophisticated femininity. The type of femininity that comes with confidence to allow you to feel comfortable and beautiful. The colours are kept in natural tones while still having a strong vibrancy to them. Prints are bold, yet simplistic in their composition.

Each of the styles has been worn, washed and stress-tested before production. We have worked hand-in-hand with our manufacturer in India to ensure we find ethical and good quality cotton. All fibres are organic. Fabric dyes are unfortunately not fully chemical free for this production. That being said, our supplier has strict measures in place to ensure wastewater is cleaned and disposed of correctly. We won’t stop looking for cleaner solutions as we continue to produce – be it fabric supplies, dyeing, printing or packaging.

The truth is that sustainability is an often over-simplified term, it doesn’t have enough regulations yet and is being overused as a marketing and PR tool with no commitment to it. So in short: The journey is long and complex and for a business in its infancy, we don’t always have the purchasing power to achieve a 100% sustainable approach.

But we’re on it: The journey to do good.

Much love,

Kris, Sarah and Maria
